I’ve always been drawn to photography, but the technical jargon—aperture, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field—and the maze of camera controls initially felt overwhelming.

Last year, I took the plunge and purchased a mirrorless camera. I also joined the Shutterbugs club where experienced members generously share their knowledge and guidance. I continue to learn and grow through club meetings, YouTube tutorials, and a wealth of other great resources.

While I enjoy experimenting with all genres of photography, I’m especially passionate about macro and wildlife.

Though I’m just beginning this creative journey—and wish I’d started sooner—I believe it’s never too late to learn something new.
